Harold Budd collaborated with the trio on the project, which was originally intended to be a soundtrack to a film. Funding for the film project fell through and so the music was released anyway by 4AD. Since it wasn't truly a 100% Cocteau record, they decided they would label it "Budd, Fraser, Guthrie, Raymonde". No matter how you slice it, though, all the music is distinctively Cocteau-y -- even with the Harold Budd influences here and there. So it's always been considered a sort of extended/extra/side project work of the Cocteaus... So there it is. Mike iceblink@tiac.net
