            Subject: Cocteaus leave Mercury


      Small article in yesterday's NME - the Cocteau Twins have left Mercury
      (Fontana's parent), but are not on the verge of splitting, as had been
      rumoured.  Simon Raymonde has an album of solo stuff on the way, and
      says new CT material will be released "sooner than you think".

      Here's the chance for Ivo to welcome them back into the fold and silence
      the "4AD's betrayed its etherial heritage" lot!
